- As a vital part of the accounts team you will be ensuring accurate and efficient financial management of commercial property accounts on a high quality portfolio of properties
- Salary £40,000 – £45,000 pa dependent upon experience
- Monday to Friday role
- Candidates must have experience in commercial property management accounts and knowledge of the RICS guidelines
- AAT level 3 or equivalent qualification required
As Commercial Property Accounts Assistant you will be ensuring accurate and efficient financial management of service charge accounts, in accordance with RICS guidance, upholding compliance with financial regulations.
Responsibilities will include:
- Managing and maintaining service charge accounts of a commercial property portfolio in line with RICS guidance
- Prepare and review service charge budgets
- Producing client statements and any additional reports required
- VAT reporting
- Work closely with the property management team to resolve accounts queries
- Liaise with external accountants on production of year end accounts
Candidates should have:
- Experience in commercial property management accounts
- A solid understanding of service charge accounting principles and practices
- Good knowledge of Excel and an accountancy/property management software system
- Excellent organisation and time management skills with precise attention to detail
- Strong communication skills with a positive approach to problem solving
- AAT level 3 or equivalent qualification
